REDUCED RATES / SLIDING SCALE

I’ve been there- there was a time when I needed therapy but couldn’t afford it. Because of that experience, it’s important to me to offer reduced rates for individuals from the following communities:

  • Latino/a/e communities and Spanish-speaking individuals

  • Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC)

  • LGBTQIA+ individuals

Here are a few places where you may be able to find more affordable counseling in the Austin, TX area. I encourage you to explore the following options:

INSURANCE

I am not currently in-network with insurance plans. However, I can provide monthly superbills for potential reimbursement. Please note that I do not communicate directly with insurance companies, and reimbursement is not guaranteed. In the event of a clawback, the client is responsible for any outstanding balance.

I am an approved provider for Curative insurance.

FORMS OF PAYMENT

I accept cash, major credit cards, debit cards, HSA, FSA, and Loveland vouchers.

GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

Under the No Surprises Act you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least one business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. For more information regarding the No Surprises Act, visit https://www.cms.gov/nosrprises.
